Description: Mental health treatment; Treatment for co-occurring serious mental illness/serious emotional disturbance and substance use disorders; Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute is a psychiatric hospital with onsite emergency services for young adults, adults, and seniors. Inpatient services are provided for patients who are not typically served by the private service sector and have no other inpatient treatment resources available to them. Most patients have a severe and persistent mental illness and are hospitalized on an emergency, involuntary basis. The hospital is an authorized provider under TennCare.
